The Valley Stars Square Dancing Club brings rhythm, fun, and community spirit to Grand Forks! The group meets regularly at St. Michael’s Catholic School Gym. They typically host dances on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A variety of levels of square dancing are offered. Whether you are a seasoned stepper or just learning the ropes, the Valley Stars are committed to promoting friendly hospitality and offering square dances that bring together all ages in the community.

The Summer Performing Arts program is open to K-12 students in the summers to continue to enjoy the theater experience throughout the summer. It is open to those with music, dance, and drama abilities. One of the best aspects about SPA is that its shows are open to the public, so if you want a relaxing night of dance filled theater performance, these captivating shows will hold your attention from the beginning to the end.
Dance in Grand Forks: Dancing for Special Stars
The “Dancing for Special Stars” event is held in Grand Forks each spring. Based off of “Dancing with the Stars”, and The Special Olympics North Dakota team picks 13 pairs of local celebrities to compete with different dance styles for the Mirror Ball Trophy. This competition is a blast to watch, boasting over 1,000 attendees in previous years. Supporting Special Olympic athletes in North Dakota and watching local celebrities light up the dance floor?
