If there’s one thing that unites a community, it’s pizza. Whether you’re craving a late-night slice, a spot to hang with friends, or a creative twist on the classic, Greater Grand Forks has plenty of options. Here are five pizza places that I’ve grown to love, and you don’t want to miss:
Best Pizza in Grand Forks: Up North Pizza Pub (East Grand Forks)
This spot is known for going beyond the basics. Their menu is full of original and creative pizzas you won’t find anywhere else in town. Perfect for when you’re ready to switch things up from plain pepperoni!

Best Pizza in Grand Forks: Deek’s Pizza
It’s late at night, you’re studying/working (or… not studying/working), and suddenly hunger strikes. That’s when Deek’s comes in. Open late, affordable, and consistently good—Deek’s is basically a UND student’s best friend.
Best Pizza in Grand Forks: Rhombus Guys Pizza
A downtown staple and student favorite. Tuesdays are the best time to go—grab a $10 two-topping pizza and test your brainpower at trivia night. My suggestion: order the Spicy Dragon if you like a little kick—it’s my personal favorite. Also, the Artichoke and Spinach skillet is one of my favorite appetizers in town!

Best Pizza in Grand Forks: Sin Bin
If you’re looking for a great spot on the south side of Grand Forks, Sin Bin is the place to go! The Taco Pizza is my favorite. It’s made with Red Pepper’s famous white and red sauce, a combo that never disappoints!
Best Pizza in Grand Forks: Joe Black’s (21+)
If you’re over the age of 21, you won’t want to miss stopping at Joe’s for a pizza! Joe Blacks isn’t just a college sports bar, they also have incredible pizzas, and they have weekly pizza specials that are unique and delicious! If you’re looking for a deal, every Friday & Saturday they have $14 XL Specialty pizzas that can’t be beat! (Also, I might be working, so stop in and say hi!)

Best Pizza in Grand Forks: Happy Joe’s
Another classic spot that if you’re not local you may have never heard of is Happy Joe’s! One of their most famous is taco pizza, but I would also recommend the BLT pizza too! Even if you just do takeout, this pizza is a can’t miss!
Whether you’re downtown, on campus, or across the river, there’s no shortage of pizza to fuel your study sessions, game nights, or just a craving. Grand Forks really is a pizza town—you just have to know where to look!
