In my youth, I was an active athlete but after graduating high school, I did not make time or space for exercise. With the demands of work, graduate school, and caring for my family, it was hard for me to make time for myself. After a trip to the emergency room for sciatica pain, I knew that I needed to make a commitment to my physical well-being.
I started my physical wellness journey in January 2020, however, just as I was developing a routine, the gym was closed due to COVID. But I stuck with it by using at-home workouts and found myself getting stronger every single day, my goal of weight loss evolved into a passion for fitness.
