Life in Motion: Creating a healthy lifestyle
Is staying active important to you? Do you want to start living a healthy lifestyle in the outdoors? The area has multiple ways to make sure you are hitting your goals during all seasons and having fun while you’re doing it. Yes, that includes winter. Check out fat tire biking if you want a new adventure! Hit the cross country ski trails. Join or start a league team (basketball, volleyball, softball to name a few). Try spinning, swimming, yoga, or cross-fit.
Area schools have great fitness centers that offer memberships to residents so you can jump on the treadmill closer to home.
Golf, you say? We’ve got you covered there, too, with 8 courses in the area including one designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer. Frisbee golf is another option if you prefer a disk to a stick. Another perk – our flat land and low elevation make Greater Grand Forks one of the best areas for running.
We’re tired out just thinking about all there is to do to stay active and fit.
