How did you come to live in greater Grand Forks?
I came to UND for college in 2011 and took advantage of one of their many internship programs, this one with the City of Grand Forks. After a year of experience, I was fortunate enough to be offered a full-time position in community development and have been there for nearly three years now.

I am about 2.1 Fruit-by-the-Foot’s tall. (6’4”)
What are the things you like most about daily life in greater Grand Forks?
I love being able to walk to work every day. Even in the dead of winter it’s super easy to walk anywhere downtown.
Fave Forks activities?
The Town Square Farmers’ Market is always a great time, as is just about any event downtown. There are an astonishing amount of things to do in Grand Forks if you just look for them.
What would you tell someone who is considering living here?
Grand Forks is a community where you can truly make an impact if you’re willing to put in the work. These are exciting times for Grand Forks, so there’s no better time to move here and start making your mark.
What’s the best kept secret in greater Grand Forks?
Riverside Dam is highly underrated. Depending on the height of the water, it can create some pretty cool rapids and is a great place to relax on the Greenway.
